I recommend Sallie Watson's blog, Regional Ponderings, on the General Assembly.

Sallie has life-long ties to the Synod of the Sun and is now the 'regional presbyter' in neighboring Synod of the Southwest. Her region covers about 90% of New Mexico. She has to leave before the Assembly is finished, but visit the blog. She's a good writer. —Shane Whisler
